A Humble Journey

Bemusedcreative is a design and art company dedicated to applying artistic vision with a strategic purpose. We believe in the power of design to build unforgettable brand personalities and create meaningful bridges between art and commerce. Our work serves businesses seeking a distinctive edge and individuals pursuing a more creative life. Art and education both require attention, craft, and a human touch. Bemusedcreative is — a humble studio focusing on that. Over the years, it is very much faith led and it has evolved into a quiet corner for making things that matter and at a sustainable pace. Some of the projects did not work as projected but it had been a learning curve. Bemusedcreative is also currently working on an educational project, trying to find time to volunteer. It is our hope to mentor from time to time hoping to remind others that we are imperfect but still deeply loved.

Etsy, The Market Place For Creative Goods

Etsy is the online global store known for its vintage and handmade items. It was one of Bemusedcreative's first stores. Sourced unique products mainly on accessories and vintage posters. Get to learn about how selling overseas work while keeping a low amount of stocks. Notable moments: Some products were featured in San Francisco Asian Art Museum Exhibition and the San Francisco Chronicles. That means a lot for a humble store like mine. Currently, Bemusedcreative is not active on Etsy as the focus is on my company website hosted by fourthwalls.

Etsy is an online e-commerce marketplace that connects buyers with independent creators, artists, and vintage collectors from around the world. What you will expect to buy and sell there: Handmade goods: Unique crafts, custom jewelry, clothing, artwork, and home decor made directly by the maker. Vintage items: Rare or collectible items and clothing that are at least 20 years old. Craft supplies: Tools, materials, and ingredients used to create handmade items. Digital items: Downloadable files like art prints, planner templates, and digital patterns. Past Collections That No Longer Aligned

Bemusedcreative used to have a humble collection of angel cards, self affirmation cards and tarot cards. At some point close to two hundred sets of them as the cards artwork looks very attractive for most just for collection and some of them are limited editions. The demand was there and the business of selling these limited edition cards were profitable. The tarot cards are symbolic tools for self-reflection, personal insight, and exploring life choices. Most users view them as a psychological or narrative tool to gain clarity on personal dilemmas. Readers lay out cards in patterns and interpret their imagery based on the user's specific questions. Non-believers explain tarot through psychology, noting that vague statements feel personal through the Barnum effect or self fulfiling thoughts. After a while Bemusedcreative decided it was not what it is quite what the shop should aligned with. A dependence on these can blur the link of critical thinking even with the oracle cards consists of gentle, non-denominational divination decks focused on angels, ascended masters, and positive spiritual guidance. The shop was also banned on Etsy and it was closed since and it was not available in other sales channels.

Chinese Painting, One Of The Oldest Artistic Traditions

Chinese painting (guohua) is one of the world's oldest continuous artistic traditions, using brush, black ink, and colored pigments on silk or paper without oils. Core Techniques and Aesthetics. Brush and Ink: Shares the same foundational techniques as traditional Chinese calligraphy. Styles: Divided into gongbi (meticulous, highly detailed realism) and xieyi (freehand expressionism). Philosophy: Focuses on capturing the inner rhythm, spirit, and vitality (qiyun) of nature rather than literal perspective or shadows. The Three Perfections: Integrates painting, poetry, and calligraphy into a single harmonious work. The more subtle—and perhaps more important is that Japanese art itself was profoundly shaped by earlier Chinese painting traditions. The Kanō and Nanpin schools, which heavily influenced many ukiyo-e artists, drew extensively from Chinese Imperial (court) and Literati painting, particularly from the Song dynasty. Hokusai himself, in an early painting from around 1802, revealed a style more closely linked to interpretations of Chinese painting by artists like Kanō Tan'yū than to other contemporary Japanese styles. And this influence flowed both ways: Japanese printed books of painting models (gafu) transmitted Chinese-style compositions through works like the Mustard Seed Garden Manual and books by artists such as Shen Quan, active in Japan in the 1730s. The influence even flowed back to China.

Chinese painters often added poems and seals directly onto the painting—making it a fusion of poetry, calligraphy, and visual art. The painting was not "finished" until the scholar added his poem and red seal. Both Chinese and Japanese cultures have rich, profound histories that have contributed enormously to global heritage from philosophy, art, and literature to science, technology, and cuisine. Ink painting (Sumi-e / Suibokuga): Both cultures developed monochrome brush painting from shared Zen Buddhist and scholarly ideals, using similar rice paper, ink stones, and brush techniques to capture nature's "spirit" rather than just its form. Motifs: Pine, bamboo, plum, cranes, and dragons appear across both traditions, though stylized differently over time. Bemusedcreative get to learn more about these and thought about getting some of these art work to print on canvas. However, this has remained more of a digital collection. Pictures Of The Floating World: Started to have an interest on Ukiyo-e which translates to "pictures of the floating world." and started downloading some from the public domain and thought about the idea of selling these prints on canva or on a digital format. The response was not what it was expected but I gained knowledge in these areas and keep them digitally instead. The term originally came from a Buddhist concept of impermanence — the transitory nature of life. But in the Edo period (17th–19th century), it took on a joyful twist: it celebrated the living in the moment about the lively city life.
