We have also prepared materials to maintain visual consistency across all professional materials to create a cohesive personal brand.
Objective:
- This integrated workshop provides essential career preparation tools through three core components:
- Resume development, professional photography, and e business card creation with interview notes given.
Target Audience:
- It is designed for students, career-advancing professionals, and artists who need to present their skills effectively.
- While primarily targeting students and early-career professionals, the workshop is open to all levels of experience seeking to enhance their professional materials.

Resume Development :
- This module focuses on creating application documents that get noticed. Participants will learn: Formatting & Strategy: How to choose between a resume based on context (industry, academia, grants). Content Optimization: Techniques for using keywords to beat automated tracking systems and framing achievements with quantifiable results. Customization & Integration: Strategies for tailoring materials to specific industries and seamlessly linking them to online portfolios and LinkedIn profiles. Inclusive Guidance: Specialized advice for artists and those with non-traditional career paths to effectively translate their experiences.
Professional Photography Session
- This component addresses the critical role of visual first impressions. Participants will receive: High-Quality Headshots: A professional photoshoot using studio lighting and backdrops, with natural retouching. Expert Coaching: Guidance on professional attire, posing, and expression for various contexts. Ready-to-Use Digital Files: Multiple formatted portraits for immediate use on LinkedIn, corporate websites, and other professional platforms.
E-Business Card Development
- This module modernizes the classic networking tool for the digital age. Participants will create: Strategic Design: Cards with essential information and visually appealing principles that reflect their personal brand. Digital Integration: Smart features like QR codes that link directly to digital profiles, portfolios, or LinkedIn. Practical Training: Effective strategies for exchanging cards and making a lasting impression in professional settings. Cost & Materials:
- Cost to be confirmed. We are exploring if we can use zoom or lower the cost of rent.
- We are also sharing some small section of commonly asked interview free because we know there are individuals who wish to excel but for some reason, unable to attend our workshop. It is okay - we want you to do well too.
- At the end, participants will receive have resume formatted, headshot done, interview worksheets tips from a recruiter, design templates for online netwoking sites, and e business cards.
- Technology requirements: Participants are required to bring laptops or tablets for working on their documents during the workshop.
2. Digital Persona: Photos, Bios & Media Kits
This hands-on, creative workshop moves beyond traditional professional materials to focus on branding for the digital world. It is designed for anyone who needs a online presence but wants it to feel comfortable and effective - even if you are a camera-shy introvert, an emerging influencer, a freelancer, or a small business owner.
The goal:
- The goal is to demystify personal branding and give participants the practical tools and creative confidence to control their narrative online, attract the right opportunities, and collaborate professionally with brands.
- We will also touch on if you are a job seeker and where the recruiter or the boss is curious about the life of the potential empolyee.

Finding Your Angle - Literally & Figuratively:
- This module tackles the challenge of visibility for those who are camera-shy or want a more creative approach. Concept: "You don't have to be an extrovert to have a great profile.' such as "The "Mysterious" Shot: Silhouettes, shots from behind, focus on hands (e.g., working, crafting, typing). The "Lifestyle" Shot: Incorporating hobbies, workspace, or pets to tell a story without a full-face close-up. The "Detail" Shot: Highlighting a product they make, a book they love, or their workspace. The Prop Box: A box of interesting props (plants, coffee mugs, hats, notebooks, tools of a trade) to help people express their personality without relying solely on their expression. Guided Photography: A photographer guides participants on how to use their phone camera to achieve these effects themselves at home.
Crafting the perfect "About Me" for different platforms):
- "Your bio is your digital first impression." We will provide a Bio Skeleton Worksheet: A fun, fill-in-the-blanks template that helps people pinpoint their value proposition, target audience, and personality. Platform Switcharoo: An exercise where they write one bio, then adapt it for three different platforms, understanding the nuance of each audience. A Call-to-Action (CTA) Clinic, if required.
Building Your Personal PR Kit - The Influencer's "Business Card" :
- This is the crucial tool for making collaborations easy and professional. Concept: "Stop scrambling for emails and photos. Have a media kit ready to send in 60 seconds." Activities: Media Kit Canva Template: Providing and working on a pre-designed, easy-to-customize Canva template. This makes the process visual and simple, not overwhelming. "Brag Sheet" Brainstorming: A guided session where participants list their accomplishments, past collaborations, audience demographics, and key stats in a way that's appealing to brands. Rates & Negotiation Role-Play: A simple, low-pressure game where participants practice how to respond to a brand inquiry and how to articulate their value.
